Welland Canal Notices to Shipping 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have been issued.

Please note that Welland Notices to Shipping 1 - 5 have been issued. The 2009 notices, are listed as follows:

• 1 – General Instructions;
• 2 – Testing of “Hands Free Mooring Equipment, Self spotting, Vessel’s Ability to Stop Without Use of Mooring Lines and Later Hydraulic Assist”;
• 3 – Two-person Lockage Procedures at Lock 8;
• 4 – Vessel Maneuvering Inside Lock Chambers; and
• 5 – Mooring Certain Vessels in Lock Chambers Using Less than 4 Mooring Wires.
