ZF Presents New Product Range

ZF is enhancing its portfolio of gearboxes for marine and offshore applications.

Since December 1, 2015, a total of 900 employees at the new ZF Industrieantriebe Witten GmbH have been reinforcing the world's leading engineering group in its Industrial Technology Division.

The merger combines the expertise and the experience of both partners in the development and production of driveline technology. The new Industrial Drives Business Unit, headquartered in Witten, thus reinforces in particular the gearbox competence of the ZF group in the marine and offshore sector.

Our customers can look forward to new offerings from ZF produced with the same high quality standards,” said Koh Chong Hin, General Manager, Asia Pacific (Marine).

ZF now has an unrivalled range of gearboxes for marine and offshore applications: swing gearboxes with a weight of up to eleven tons for positioning offshore-cranes with millimeter accuracy. Winch gearboxes lift heavy components from high lifting heights and position them at a safe distance exactly on the intended spot. Specialized gearboxes for jack-up systems lift offshore platforms and work boats to the required heights.

ZF planetary gearboxes are characterized by their compact and space-saving design and are extremely resilient and robust.

ZF is presenting its expanded portfolio of gearboxes for marine and offshore applications to the experts at the Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition in Singapore (Marina Bay Sands, hall E, booth N-48) from March 16 to 18.
