SEACOR Providing Hurricane Relief in Bahamas

SEACOR Island Lines LLC (“SEACOR”) continues to donate supplies and offer the capabilities of its vessels, equipment and logistics chain to support much needed relief efforts for the Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Joaquin.

SEACOR is donating and delivering over 40,000 bottles of water directly to Long Island and San

Salvador. SEACOR is also supporting other businesses that are collecting relief supplies by utilizing our vessels and containers to deliver those supplies to the affected islands. SEACOR’s fleet of landing craft offers a direct route to the affected islands from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 Additionally, SEACOR has been in contact with the Bahamian National Emergency Management Agency and the Bahamas Red Cross to offer assistance in their relief efforts.

SEACOR Island Lines is an ocean freight transportation company that operates landing craft from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas on a daily basis. Covering an area from Grand Bahama to the Turks and Caicos with its specialized landing craft, SEACOR is able to land in remote, underdeveloped locations to provide cargo delivery. SEACOR operates scheduled service to 18 islands weekly and is available for direct charter services as needed to other destinations.
