BMT Group (BMT), the leading international design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has announced the launch of a new Canadian-based subsidiary, BMT Clarity.  A management consultancy that provides high value advice and insight to complex Canadian public sector programs, BMT Clarity brings together the deep, specialist and local knowledge of experts from sister companies BMT Hi-Q Sigma and BMT Fleet Technology.

The team from BMT Hi-Q Sigma and BMT Fleet Technology have been supporting federal clients in Canada for several years, helping them to achieve improvements in program delivery and to support the roll out of major change initiatives.  Duncan Whitrow, General Manager at BMT Clarity explains: “As our name suggests, we bring clarity to our clients’ programs.  Combining expertise in program management, transformational change and systems thinking, we help our clients to establish a clear picture of their goals and how they are being realised which in turn, builds the coherence they need to make informed decisions.”

Based in Ottawa, BMT Clarity brings together BMT Hi-Q Sigma’s experience of delivering management consultancy services in other markets and BMT Fleet Technology’s deep understanding of the challenges facing procurement and reform programs that comes from over 30 years of working with the Canadian Federal Government.

Duncan Whitrow continues: “BMT Clarity is growing and constantly evolving to meet the demands of our ever growing client base.  Not only do we provide the strategic guidance needed to help manage and optimise programs, we provide hands-on implementation support.  Our passionate and energetic team is committed to actively sharing knowledge with clients so that they can upskill and become self-sufficient.”

David Bright, Sector Director Defence at BMT Group adds: “This is an exciting development for BMT Group as we strengthen our capability portfolio in Canada.  BMT has been at the heart of many public sector reform programs and we are pleased to extend this offering within Canada.”
