SEVSAT Day 2010 with Ship Equip & Transas

Following years of speculation and anticipation, the IMO, last year published an implementation schedule for the mandatory carriage of ECDIS systems on board commercial vessels.
But what does this mean for you and your fleet?

Will there be sufficient coverage of official ENC’s?
What hardware do I need?
What about ECDIS training?
What does “paperless navigation” entail?
How about updates, communication needs, etc.

It is these and other questions, we hope to be able to answer during a short one day conference Transas USA and Ship Equip, a leading supplier of satellite based communications equipment are conducting on August 3rd at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center.
