MTB Marine Americas 2011 Launches with Great Success!

Buyers from 11 different nations from across the Americas joined us in Ft. Lauderdale for our inaugural MTB “Meet the Buyer” networking forum in the Americas.

The general feeling about the launch was extremely positive. Everyone involved confirmed that they have made some valuable contacts, taken firm leads and generated future opportunities from meetings and networking at the forum. Over 50 buyers from ship owners/operators of vessels ranging in size from Tugs to Cruise Liners benefitted from the brilliant range and quality of supplier companies they met with in Ft. Lauderdale.

Suppliers of everything in the Marine industry, from Navigation Lights to Electrical Controls, were present from 18 nations to make new business contacts, build relationships and generate new leads from the buyers.

Many thanks are due to all the team at Maritime Executive, whose help and insight into the local market was valuable and whose quality publication added greatly to the event.

We look forward to March 7th – 10th 2012 when the second instalment of MTB Marine Americas will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We aim to double the size of the forum and have already secured a lot of support from the booming local market in Brazil, with buyers from across North and South America and Suppliers worldwide.
