L&R Midland Inc. Appoints Walter J Gregorek to Vice President Sale & Purchase

Walter has served as Vice President Shipyard Representation for over 20 years and look forward to his dedicated service for our S&P division. This announcement comes on the heels of Richard Clark’s retirement and affirms L&R’s renewed commitment to the world wide maritime community.

Jonathan Hala has transitioned into sale and purchase, in addition to his normal inland chartering duties. Jonathan brings a new energy to Walter’s vision and team as they have closed on the sale of a fleet of 5 barges and a tug in Q2 of 2011. He joins Malcolm Hounsom and James McMorris in sale and purchase.

With these new additions L&R Midland positions itself as an integrated marine services company that offers professional brokerage for American Flag Shipping, Inland Barging, Marine Sale & Purchase, Shipyard Representation/Marketing, Offshore Vessel support& chartering and Specialized marine projects.
