bMC Expands its Global Presence

brand MARINE CONSULTANTS GmbH (bMC) expands its global presence with Capt. Ajay Prasad joining the team as Managing Director & Partner in Singapore

bMC, a Marine and Offshore Consultancy is pleased to announce that Capt. Ajay Prasad has joined its leadership team as Managing Director and Partner for Southeast Asia. The veteran mariner, who started his career at sea over 20 years ago, will be based in Singapore and will oversee bMC’s business and operational activities in Southeast Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Capt. Prasad has gained considerable industry insight throughout his career. He has worked together with shipowners and technical managers overseeing oil, chemical and gas tankers in commercial, operational and health, safety and environmental (HSE) roles, in addition to leading numerous investigations into serious maritime disasters and vessel casualties. He has successfully executed numerous high profile salvage & wreck removal operations as Salvage Master and Project Manager. With a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, widely considered as one of the world’s leading business schools, Capt. Prasad brings a wealth of both managerial experience and operational knowledge to bMC. He was instrumental in implementing informative, in-house training and consultancy programs with his previous employers, and has developed several workshops and training seminars for senior managers across the industry.
