HydroComp, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Kaplan to the staff in Durham, New Hampshire USA as Project Engineer. Already well known to many of HydroComp’s customers in the propeller sales and manufacturing community, Adam will be the lead for development of new versions of PropExpert® and PropCad® software. He is also on the front-line of customer support to HydroComp’s worldwide users.

Mr. Kaplan is not a new face to HydroComp, and many will recognize him from trade shows and presentations. Adam started as engineering intern at HydroComp during his mechanical engineering studies at the University of New Hampshire College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, where he earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. A member of SNAME, he has made numerous presentations to the New England Section, the most recent on the topic of CAD-friendly propeller geometries.

According to Technical Director Donald MacPherson; “We are extremely pleased to add Adam to our full-time staff, and look forward to him continuing his association with our products and services. In particular, we have been very impressed with his ability to engage in end-user support in a way that is both accessible and comprehensive – a talent that is rare in a young engineer.”
