GENESIS Awarded Upstream Concept Selection Scope

Genesis is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Upstream Concept Select Study by BG Group, as Operator of Blocks 1, 3 & 4, for their project in Tanzania. These large gas discoveries are located in water depths between 1,000 and 1,800 m and will be developed via an onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant.

The Genesis scope of work includes:
• consideration of the upstream facilities, and
• both concept selection and pre-FEED (front-end engineering and design) activities.

The study will be performed with the client team resident in Genesis’ London Headquarters in St Paul's.
