EMC Establishes New Location in Aberdeen, Scotland

New location to support maritime and oil and gas operations in the North Sea and Europe

Global satellite (VSAT) and terrestrial communications services provider Emerging Markets Communications (EMC) announced today has opened a new location in Aberdeen, Scotland to support its maritime and oil and gas operations in the North Sea and throughout Europe.

EMC employees will deploy, maintain, and manage satellite communications for customers operating in the region.

The Aberdeen market is key for maritime, shipping and offshore oil and gas activities in the North Sea and surrounding regions.  EMC’s growing presence in these verticals warrants a dedicated location to expand upon these capabilities and services.

The Aberdeen office will house business development, operations and technical personnel for the maritime vertical, and will be in close proximity to EMC’s Research & Development function in Norway.
