Burger Boat Company is pleased to announce that it has received a contract for the construction of an 89' (27m) steel passenger vessel for Wendella Sightseeing Company, Chicago, IL. Styled after other vessels in Wendella's fleet, this vessel will be used for their signature Combined Lake and River Tour, the Chicago River Architecture Tour, specialty cruises and private events.

The 89' (27m) steel passenger vessel provides an enclosed, climate controlled main deck cabin where guests will find a striking black granite bar and room for socializing. The upper deck provides ample space for guests to mingle and enjoy extraordinary views of Chicago. Capable of accommodating 150-275 guests, the vessel will be a valued addition to the Wendella fleet.

This new passenger vessel, designed by Timothy Graul Marine Design, will be built at Burger's shipyard which is conveniently located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She will be powered by twin Scania DI13 080M Tier III main engines and will have two (2) Northern Lights generators.

Burger Boat Company, founded in 1863, has an established history of building a variety of vessels including custom motor and sailing yachts, fishing boats, tow boats, patrol craft, passenger vessels, ferries, research vessels and naval craft.
