AlliedBarton Security Services Enhances Port Security with 10 Year PORTSTAR Partnership

PORTSTAR™ announces a 10-year National Partner License Agreement with AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry’s premier provider of highly trained security personnel, for use of its Seaport Security Training System.

“We are excited to begin this partnership with AlliedBarton,” said Ralston MacDonnell, CEO of MacDonnell Group©, owners of PORTSTAR™. “AlliedBarton is showing leadership in compliance with port and facility management training required by the US Coast Guard and in assisting their port customers to obtain the necessary security training.”

This agreement gives AlliedBarton access to the PORTSTAR™ Seaport Security Training System for use by its employees. It also allows AlliedBarton the ability to make PORTSTAR™ available to its clients at an affordable rate.

PORTSTAR™ is a comprehensive web-based seaport security training system comprised of nine courses with 480 lessons. This training system assists to fulfill United States Coast Guard and United States Maritime Administration (MARAD) security training requirements and provide 24/7 professional development opportunities to a blue ribbon family of port authorities, terminal operators, police departments and security guard companies across the United States.
