ARTEMUS Transportation Solutions, a leader in the web-based trade compliance software industry, signed a service provider agreement with Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System, Inc. (NACCS Center). The agreement will seamlessly integrate the Artemus Trade Compliance System to NACCS in order to meet the Japan's Advanced Filing Rules (AFR), providing its clients with trade compliant capabilities for shipments from any origin into Japan.

"Artemus is fully staffed with shipping experts and we understand the necessity to quickly respond to the needs of the marketplace, service our clients' requirements and provide seamless integration," said Steve Pniewski, President -CEO of Artemus. "With our web-based, all-device media, software as a service approach, we promise to provide a smooth and simple process that minimizes workload and ensures efficiency."

The Japanese government implemented the regulations in March, in which a vessel operator or a NVOCC intending to enter cargo into a port in Japan, will have to electronically submit maritime cargo information to Japanese Customs no later than 24-hours before departure of the vessel from the cargos' load port.

"With regulations that differ with each country, this agreement and our software product will allow easy reporting for clients through one system, using just one input screen and minimize the work required to comply with Japan's AFR," he added.

Since 2004, Artemus has served as a web-based trade compliance software provider offering process support, online/classroom industry training and actual international shipping expertise from staff with international maritime trade and global commerce industry experience.
