A high-level Thuraya delegation, led by Chief Technology Officer Ali Al Mazrooei, has set off to Washington DC to meet with potential military and media customers at the world’s largest satellite telecom exhibition. Thuraya is establishing strong visibility in “Satellite 2010” which brings thousands of military, media, government and NGO officials.

Commenting on Thuraya’s participation at this key gathering, Mr. Al Mazrooei said, “The US is a significantly large customer of satellite telecom in our 140-country coverage area and elsewhere. And we have top-quality, competitive voice and data products that meet US and international customers’ needs. Hence, we naturally go to this Washington event to further develop our international business.”

Mr. Al Mazrooei will also be sharing Thuraya’s perspective on “New Solutions and New Opportunities at the MSS CEO Session” at the conference which is attended by a large number of specialists.

“We are pleased to be taking part in Satellite 2010 where we can share our expertise with industry partners, and directly talk to our vertical market customers,” he added.
