Subsea Global Solutions (SGS), the leading underwater services company with headquarters in Miami, Florida (USA), is pleased to announce the appointment of the ship management veteran, Harun Duzgoren, to their management team as ‘Executive Director, Business Development & Strategy’, effective of 21st October 2016.

Harun joins SGS from the world’s leading maritime services provider V.Ships, where he had spent more than 16 years in different senior positions working from various locations including London, Monaco, Istanbul, Dubai, Hamburg, and Singapore. His last remit with V.Group was to head up the business development function for all group services covering the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region.

With the appointment of Harun to the SGS management team, Rick Shilling has accepted the position of Executive Vice-President of SGS Global Technical Group. He will lead this critical division and bring his years of experience and knowledge to grow and build this business segment. Rick has been leading SGS’ business development team for the past 10 years after a successful 16-year career in key sales and management positions with Wartsila Corporation.

The Global Technical Group will handle unique Technical Projects, Hydroweld USA, Engineering, Research & Development, Training, Risk Management, and Contract Review, and Marketing.
