Alan C. McClure Associates Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Alan C. McClure Associates (ACMA), one of the industry’s premier naval architecture and engineering firms, announced today that April 1, 2015 was the official date of the company’s 40th Anniversary.

Founded in 1975 by Alan C. McClure, ACMA serves a diverse base of domestic and international clientele in the offshore exploration, production and marine transportation industries. Today, the company continues to broaden its range of capabilities that include analytical design with computational fluid dynamics capabilities, new vessel design and construction, vessel modification and shipyard management.

According to ACMA President Scott McClure, “When my father launched the company, we were quickly recognized as a pioneer in the application of what was then considered advanced engineering technology. Today, we’re just as committed to staying at that leading edge of technology so we can provide our clients with increased project accuracy, efficiency, and reduced costs, while adhering to the principles of sound design and engineering.”
