U.S. Coast Guard Seeking Applications for Membership on Two Key Safety Committees

Towing Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC) and Houston/Galveston Navigation Safety Advisory Committee (HOGANSAC) need filling by qualified applicants. The U.S. Coast Guard is currently seeking applications for membership on the Towing Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC) and the Houston/Galveston Navigation Safety Advisory Committee (HOGANSAC). The TSAC committee advises the Coast Guard on matters relating to shallow-draft inland and coastal waterway navigation and towing safety. Applications for that committee need to be submitted by February 16, 2009. The deadline for HOGANSAC, the committee that advises the Coast Guard on matters relating to safe navigation of vessels to and from the ports of Galveston, Houston, and Texas City, and throughout Galveston Bay is February 14th 2009.
